SWTCH and FLO Launch Seamless Roaming Agreement, Improving Access to Tens of Thousands of Chargers Across North America
SWTCH Energy and FLO have recently announced a comprehensive roaming agreement. The agreement allows users of one charging network to access the other network’s stations through their existing app, eliminating the need for multiple accounts, payment methods, and apps to install. The roaming agreement addresses a critical industry challenge: charging network fragmentation. As EV adoption accelerates, drivers face friction from different networks requiring separate apps and accounts. This complexity creates barriers to EV adoption, particularly for frequent travelers and those in multi-provider regions.
