Electric Avenue Launches Incentive Program for EV Charging Installers

Electric Avenue announced on March 23, 2026, the official launch of its new Contractor Incentive Program, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the EV charging industry, built exclusively for contractors who have completed the company’s Installer Certification course. The program rewards certified installers for every verified and networked installation they complete, offering cash rebates, points, and tiered status benefits designed to support contractor success and long-term partnership.

The Contractor Incentive Program is now available to electricians and contractors who have successfully completed Electric Avenue’s Level 2 Installer Certification. This self-paced, roughly two-hour online training program is available through Electric Avenue University, powered by BlueVolt.

Certified installers can log installations, track verification milestones, submit rebate invoices, and manage their rewards through Electric Avenue’s dedicated Contractor Incentive Portal.

Verified installations earn:

  • $50 + 25 pts for Level 2 residential installs
  • $200 + 100 pts for Level 2 commercial installs
  • $2000 + 1000 pts for DC fast charger installs

Cash rebates are available only for installations completed in Canada, as they are funded through Canada’s CFR/CATS reinvestment framework. U.S.-based certified installers remain eligible to earn points, tier status, and program rewards. Electric Avenue is exploring options to introduce a similar rebate program in the U.S.

As installers accumulate points, they advance through Electric Avenue’s new tier structure of Certified, Elite, and Super Elite, unlocking additional perks such as exclusive swag kits, bonus multipliers, the ability to redeem points for free Electric Avenue charging hardware, charging access, and preferred installer status on select projects and proposals.

“Canada’s EV transition is powered by skilled electricians, and the Contractor Incentive Program is our way of recognizing and supporting the contractors who make these installations possible,” said Mark MacDonald, President of Electric Avenue. “If you’re a certified installer, every installation you complete now helps grow your business, and your rewards.”

Contractors interested in participating must first complete the Level 2 Installer Certification through Electric Avenue University. Once certified, installers are eligible to enroll in the Contractor Incentive Program and begin earning rewards.
