Introducing Contractor Incentives: Earn Cash Rebates, Points, and Exclusive Perks for Every Electric Avenue Installation

Electricians and contractors play a pivotal role in powering Canada’s transition to electric mobility, and at Electric Avenue, they believe that expertise and dedication deserve recognition. That’s why they are excited to introduce the Contractor Incentive Program, their new rewards and loyalty program built exclusively for Electric Avenue-Certified Installers.

Launching in January 2026, the Contractor Incentive Program is designed to support certified contractors as they grow their EV charging installation business, providing cash rebates and points-based rewards for every verified and networked installation completed.

A Program Built for Certified Installers

Contractor Incentives are available only to contractors who have completed Electric Avenue’s Level 2 Installer Certification, a self-paced, two-hour online training program offered through Electric Avenue University. Certification ensures contractors are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to install Electric Avenue’s Level 2 charging stations safely and reliably — plus it unlocks the door to significant rewards!

If you’re already certified, you’ll be automatically invited to join their Contractor Incentive Program when it launches later in January, 2026. If not, now is the perfect time to complete your certification so you can start earning from your very first installation in the new year.

Earn Cash Rebates and Points for Every Verified Install

Once certified, installers can log installations through Electric Avenue’s Contractor portal and earn rewards for each verified and networked charger they install:

Verified installations earn:

$50 + 25 pts for each Level 2 residential install
$200 + 100 pts for each Level 2 commercial install
$2000 + 1000 pts for each DC fast charger install

Every install contributes to your total points, which you can redeem for free Electric Avenue products, helping you reinvest in your business as you grow.

Important Note on Rebate Eligibility:
Cash rebates offered through the Contractor Incentive Program are currently available exclusively for installations completed in Canada. These rebates are funded through Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR) / CATS reinvestment framework and, as such, must be reinvested into Canadian EV charging infrastructure. Electric Avenue–Certified Installers operating in the United States remain fully eligible to participate in the Program’s rewards component, including earning points, advancing through program tiers, and accessing exclusive perks and benefits. Electric Avenue is actively exploring options to introduce a similar rebate program for U.S.-based partners in the future.

Three Tiers. Endless Possibilities.

The Contractor Incentive Program features a progressive tier structure designed to reward growth at every stage:

Advancing through the tiers increases both your earning potential and your visibility across Electric Avenue’s installer network. And with higher-volume installers earning points even faster, your rewards grow right alongside your business.

Why We Built the Contractor Incentive Program

Electricians are the backbone of EV charging deployment. Your installations make Electric Avenue’s products come to life in homes, businesses, communities, and public spaces across the country. The Contractor Incentive Program reflects Electric Avenue’s commitment to:

  • Supporting your success through meaningful, ongoing incentives
  • Strengthening long-term partnerships with the contractors who trust and install Electric Avenue technology
  • Advancing national EV adoption by empowering the installers who make charging accessible

Every verified install is more than a completed project, it’s a contribution to Canada’s electric future. And now, with the Contractor Incentive Program, it’s also a step toward bigger benefits for your business.

Get Certified Now to Start Earning

Contractor Incentives officially launches later in January, 2026, and all Electric Avenue-Certified Installers will be automatically invited.

If you haven’t completed the Level 2 Installer Certification yet, now is the time. The sooner you’re certified, the sooner you can begin earning rebates and climbing the rewards tiers.

From Growth to Grid-Ready: The EV Charging Outlook for 2026

As we head into 2026, the EV charging industry feels different. The land-grab phase of “install chargers everywhere” is giving way to a more disciplined focus on reliability, grid integration, and profitable operations. EV growth has cooled from the breakneck pace of the early 2020s, but long-term forecasts still point up and to the right — and 2026 is shaping up to be the year EVSE has to perform like real infrastructure, not just pilot projects.

At Electric Avenue, that shift plays directly to their strengths: smart hardware, serious software, and deep collaboration with utilities, contractors, and developers. Here’s how they see the coming year.
