Standards for Battery Electric Vehicle Charging and Energy Management

With consumer demand and ambitious government targets for zero-emissions vehicles, the growing number of battery electric vehicles (BEV) on the roads will need the support of widespread infrastructure. Developing sufficient and reliable charging equipment and resilient electrical grid requires the collaboration of the transportation sector with electrical utilities and manufacturers, as well as harmonization of safety rules and regulations across North America.

CSA Group standards-based solutions provide a systems approach to the deployment of BEV infrastructure and its seamless integration into the electrical grid across the continent.
