NACS Vehicle Couplers
X Tronics offers next-generation NACS (North American Charging Standard) vehicle couplers designed to meet the growing demand for fast, efficient EV charging solutions.
These charging couplers are available in multiple power configurations, including:
- 40A, 50A, and 80A AC
- 200A to 400A DC (uncooled)
- 600A DC liquid-cooled with 800A peak capability
- Customizable cable lengths for flexible integration
Built to meet rigorous industry standards, the NACS couplers are compliant with SAE J3400 and UL2251 certified. The latest Generation 3 design also features replaceable front nose components and contacts, simplifying maintenance and extending product lifespan.
NACS Vehicle Inlets
The NACS vehicle inlet solutions are engineered for long-term reliability and seamless vehicle integration. Crimping versions are available with or without LED indicators, along with 12V or 24V electronic locking (E-lock) options.
Key specifications include:
- Over 20,000 mating cycles
- Insertion and withdrawal force below 100N
- Rated current up to 500A using liquid-cooled charging couplers
- Rated voltage up to 1000V DC
- Integrated PT1000 thermistor temperature monitoring on DC+ and DC- power contacts
These inlets comply with multiple international standards, including IEC 62196-1, IEC 62196-2, IEC 62196-3, and SAE J3400.
