Phoenix Contact: CHARX CCS Charging Inlets with Assembled Cable Set - Ready-to-Install Solution for Electric Vehicles

The CHARX connect universal CCS charging inlets for universal use from Phoenix Contact function as a High Power Charging interface with charging powers of up to 700 kW, significantly reducing charging times for electric vehicles and mobile machinery.

The CCS type 2 charging inlets with assembled cable set are now available as a ready-to-install solution for electric vehicles for the first time.

The new, ready-to-install CHARX connect universal CCS type 2 charging inlets are now available with standard connectors for a wide range of market requirements, all from a single source. The preassembled inlets are compatible with conventional on-board charging devices as well as numerous PDU and BMS connections. They enable the retrofitting of cable glands and support AC/DC charging for utility vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and similar applications.

With individually adjustable charging power, connecting cable, and actuator voltage, the CCS charging inlets meet a wide range of specific requirements. The precise temperature measurement and high IP protection ensure maximum safety. The charging inlets are developed and produced in accordance with the IATF 16949 automotive standard.
