Amphenol Industrial Operations Expands ePower-Lite Series with New Mini X High-Voltage Connector

Amphenol Industrial Operations has expanded its ePower-Lite® Series with the introduction of the new ePower-Lite Mini X, a compact high-voltage connector engineered for today’s increasingly space-constrained electrification applications.
Designed to support the evolving needs of electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), fuel cell vehicles (FCV), heavy equipment, factory automation, and industrial electrification systems, the Mini X extends the versatility of the proven ePower-Lite connector family while maintaining the rugged performance and reliability expected from Amphenol Industrial Operations.
The two-position connector supports operating voltages up to 1000 VDC and current ratings up to 35A, providing engineers with a compact solution for auxiliary high-voltage systems where installation space is limited. Optional High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) and EMI shielding configurations, combined with IP67 and IP6K9K environmental sealing, IP2XB touch-safe protection, and secondary locking, help support safe and reliable operation in demanding environments.
As electrified platforms continue to integrate more power electronics into smaller packages, connector size, weight, and flexibility have become increasingly important design considerations. The Mini X addresses these challenges by offering a lightweight, compact interface without sacrificing durability or electrical performance.
The Mini X complements the existing ePower-Lite Series, which includes 3.6 mm, 5.7 mm, and Mini connector platforms, giving engineers additional flexibility to select the connector that best matches their current, voltage, packaging, and application requirements.
