Mersen Selected to Supply Fuses for EV

Mersen has announced that it has been selected to supply fuses for electric and hybrid vehicles manufactured by Ford and Leapmotor.

On July 20, 2026, Mersen announced that it has been selected to supply fuses for electric and hybrid vehicles manufactured by Ford and Leapmotor. Together, these two opportunities represent a potential cumulative revenue of approximately 10 million euros.

Ford has selected Mersen to supply a fuse integrated into a battery disconnect module for several of the brand’s hybrid models in the United States. In addition, Mersen will supply Leapmotor with fuses also intended for battery protection in the company’s electric vehicles.
